They had fallen under the spell of English country house decor and wanted to bring a similar approach to their New York apartment. “They loved the casual elegance of British country homes with the florals and patterns,” says interior designer Sara Bengur (@sarabengur), who designed the space. “And like me, they love color.” The library is a result of color experimentation gone right: turquoise walls blend with custom millwork.
