Painting in the River of Angels: Judy Baca and The Great Wall Is ✨NOW OPEN✨

Yesterday @judy_baca put the first brushstroke up on the section of The Great Wall that will be painted live in the galleries by Baca and artists from the Social and Public Art Resource Center (@sparcinla) The section being painted onsite will include the Farmworkers’ Movement and East L.A. Walkouts. In the spring, her team expects to paint the Watts Rebellion, Watts Renaissance, Black Panther organizing in South L.A., and El Altar.
