I have many favorite places in Japan, but this one is at the top of my list. An architectural beauty sitting upon a cliff overlooking the ocean designed by Hiroshi Sugimoto. It is here that I witnessed the beauty where heaven and earth meet. I remember the very first time I visited this space in 2019. It was one of those experiences that just leaves such a deep impression in your psyche. It was an emotional moment that I needed at that time of my life. I had felt trapped and stuck mentally and emotionally. But upon walking through the doors of this nature embodied space, I felt my lungs take a deep breathe for the first time in a long time.
