Very sad to hear the news this morning of the passing of Sir Michael Bonallack OBE. Over the years I had the good fortune of spending time with Sir Michael on many occasions. It was always an absolute pleasure. We’re pictured here alongside @jovanrebula who won the Amateur Championship in 2018. Sir Michael actually won that five times. He was a true gent and one of the game’s all-time great amateurs, with a record that speaks for itself. And of course he was a highly influential and respected administrator @therandagolf ambassador and servant of our sport. What an incredible lifetime in golf. Sending my sincere condolences to his family at this time.
