I just did the math (actually I googled it, ha) and it was 536 days ago that we started filming, now we are just 3 days away from releasing it to the world. Placing a few of my favorite lines from the movie here to commemorate. Yes, I am in fact having all of the feelings!! When I tell you that nothing worth doing is easy, and everything accomplished and done well is the result of many people bringing their gifts and talents, contributing their very best to make something beautiful, powerful, inspiring and special, I mean it!! I hope you show up to watch it on the big screen!! It’s crazy that all that goes into making a movie and we’re only guaranteed to be in the theater for ONE WEEK! Aaahhh! Praying that it ends up being longer. We’re already hearing theaters are selling out opening night 🥹 I can’t wait for you to experience this story of hardship and hope, from a life and a marriage that was a wreck to redemption. Also, you’ll also get a glimpse into a young Uncle Si in case you want to see the beginnings of the legend, ha! You will laugh and cry, I think that’s the indicator of a good movie, right?!?
