Let’s retire the term ‘starving artist’...

I started out in LA with nothing, truly a ‘starving artist.’ But that label limited my belief in what I could achieve.

Today, I’m living a life that I never could’ve imagined in the beginning – there were three main things that helped me do that:

1️⃣ Say Yes: When you’re first starting out, you don’t have the luxury to pick and choose what things you do and don’t do.

2️⃣ Provide Value: Don’t just ask for collaborations. Show up with a plan on how you can contribute value.

3️⃣ Know Your Worth: As you start to build that momentum, now you have the luxury of choosing a bit more, and it’s really important to know your worth.
