@IWC has tapped its brand ambassador @ルイス・ハミルトン to collaborate on a new limited edition Portugieser timepiece. Combining Hamilton’s bold aesthetics and love of color with IWC’s watchmaking technology, the timepiece features a 43.5mm case made up of platinum along with a teal-colored dial, complete with 12 diamonds added as embellishment. Dubbed the Portugieser Tourbillon Rétrograde Chronograph Lewis Hamilton, the watch is powered by the IWC-manufactured 89900 caliber and sees Hamilton’s logo resembling a panther’s eye.⁠

Movement components such as the bridges are also gold plated and can be seen through the sapphire crystal caseback, marking the first time the watch brand has produced gold-plated movement since 1993. Swipe through for a closer look.⁠
