Organic kale is often touted as a superfood, but that doesn't mean it's climate smart: some large-scale organic farms end up creating more greenhouse gasses than conventional farms. Image #2 is a kale seed detail, image #3 is early-season greenhouse kale, and image #4 is a photomontage of the kale anther and kale leaves. I'm drawn to the patterns, textures, and drama of blending macro and micro imagery, using these to explore how food and climate connect.
