10 Things I’ve learned since starting my own business.

1. There’s never a “perfect time” to start. Start when it feels right for you.

2. The passion will eventually fade. prepare to put your head down and hustle.

3. Don’t chase the money. Chase the purpose and the money and connections will come to you naturally.

4. Fake it till you make it.

5. Heal your wounds and learn how to love yourself. You can’t help other people without helping yourself first.

6. Learn to become a good communicator. No one wants to follow an insecure, defensive or immature boss.

7. Google everything. You’d be surprised how much you can find out on the internet.

8. Don’t rush. Some days will feel slow, but take it one step at a time. Even accomplishing one thing on your to-do list is a step up the ladder.

9. It’s okay to make mistakes. That’s how we learn and grow.

10. Find something you get excited to work on. Something that keeps your brain flowing with ideas and excitement.
