It’s been ten years of @StuartVevers’s time shaping @コーチ. The British designer celebrated his anniversary tonight with a blowout show at the New York Public Library by ruminating on his early days in the city back in the ‘90. His interpretations of the city’s staples are as he remembers them: Night-out slip dresses, androgynous grungy knits, and oversized sitting for the post-power dressing woman. There were nods to his favorite spots in the city, too, by way of graphic tees nodding at Donohue’s, the steakhouse on Lexington Avenue.
