So to me the music video for Bench Seat is the best thing I've ever done since I've been making music. Today, we didn't get nominated for CMA video of the year. Whether that's politics(and me being terrible at playing that game), bullshit, or us simply not being good enough, I don't know. What I do know is this dog, and that song has made my life without a shadow of doubt better; and the stories I hear from y'all every night at our live shows, and the lights y'all hold up for the final chorus, has made my year. We ain't gonna win this one, but that doesn't take away from the fact that this song and story is helping save lives, including my own. I love y'all, and thanks for the ride. Congrats to Ashley, OD, Jelly, Jordan, Hardy and Lainey. Y'all are badass, see ya out there.
