A major exhibition of new works by Edmund de Waal (@edmunddewaal), titled "this must be the place," opens on Wednesday, September 13, at Gagosian, 541 West 24th Street. This will be the internationally acclaimed artist and writer’s first with the gallery in New York in a decade.

Dedicated to Emily Dickinson, six "Letters to Amherst" works include compositions in primarily unglazed porcelain, gold leaf, and alabaster arrayed within horizontal white vitrines. Follow the link in our bio for more information.
