DRAMATIC DUALITY Inside a hidden surf shack in Malibu, my team and I undertook a redesign, transforming the space into a summer home for my family and me. A metal No. 2 chair from Comme des Garçons guides the way into the office where a vintage 1987 Cassina marble table by Mario Bellini stands, accompanied by white plaster chairs designed by Lukas Gschwandtner, and Frank Gehry’s wiggle side chair. To juxtapose the original wood paneling, we selected woven wall art, masterfully crafted by Jean Alexander Frater. XK
