In 1982, Patrick @pzachmann followed a police force in Naples, Italy, during a tense period of conflict between the Neapolitan mafia, the Camorra, and the police and local community.
The work resulted in his first monograph, Madonna!, which he dedicated to his friend and guide Andrea Mormile, a young police officer and local hero he accompanied on police patrols and to crime scenes.
Today, September 3, marks the anniversary of Mormile’s assassination at the hands of the Camorra. In a new documentary, Un pezzo di papà, Patrick Zachmann travels back to Naples to meet his late friend's family.
