Then life got in the way. The next year, I got Covid when we were all supposed to go to Rhode Island (I had to cancel that morning and was so bummed) and then this summer, we couldn’t figure out a date that worked for everyone while our kids were all away in July. But you know when you just feel the need to be around the friends who have known you forever? So, I got Mike to agree to take the kids to the city for two days and I had my friends all stay over the house. We went wine tasting in the North Fork, had dinner in Greenport, shopped in Westhampton… it was so lovely and just what I needed. I felt a little bad sending the kids away but sometimes friend time is just as important for your mental well-being as family time. ❤️」9月2日 22時16分
