We recently held a non-virtual LAVENDER RING MAKEUP＆PHOTOS WITH SMILES event for the first time in 4 years in Tokyo.
MAKE UP & PHOTOS WITH SMILES is an activity in which photos of cancer survivors with personalized makeup looking and feeling great are taken, then used to create posters that include their personal manifestos.19 people from the ages of 9 to 76 participated, and the venue came alive with big smiles.

The photos taken this time are scheduled to be exhibited at the poster exhibition that is planned for a later date, and through this, we are hoping that misperceptions and prejudices toward cancer survivors change.

LAVENDER RING started in 2017 as a project for supporting cancer survivors with the slogan, “Bringing smiles to all people with cancer.” The project was also expanded globally in year 2022, and it is currently active in 4 countries and regions (China, Singapore, Taiwan, and Thailand). Shiseido supports all people living their lives as their unique selves through the power of beauty.

先日、LAVENDER RING MAKEUP＆PHOTOS WITH SMILESを4年ぶりに東京でリアル開催しました。
MAKEUP & PHOTOS WITH SMILESは、その人らしくメイクをしたがんサバイバーの方のイキイキとした表情を撮影、記入したメッセージとともにその場でポスターに仕上げる活動です。
当日は9歳から76歳の19名が参加し、会場に大輪の笑顔が花開きました。

今回撮影された写真は、今後開催予定のポスター展にて展示予定で、発信を通じてがんサバイバーへの間違った認識や偏見を変えていきたいと考えています。

LAVENDER RINGは、「すべてのがんサバイバーに笑顔を」をスローガンに、がんサバイバーを支援するプロジェクトとして2017年に発足しました。2022年よりグローバルでも展開し、4つの国・地域（中国、シンガポール、台湾、タイ）で開催しています。資生堂は、美の力で誰もが自分らしく生きることを応援します。
