早朝の駐車場で、幼い頃憧れてた風景に遭遇した。アンデス山脈に住む少数民族の少女の物語の色鮮やかな表紙と、その本を見えるところにずっと飾ってた8歳の自分が突然現れて、足元にワームホールが開いたみたいだった。
オイルの跡も、その写真を撮る私も、存在するってこういうことなのかなとか考えながら、今日着る服を選んだ。

I came across something in a parking lot that took me right back to when I was 8. I was in love with a novel about a little girl that lives in the Andes Mountains. The landscape on the cover and little girl who kept the book on display on her bookshelf suddenly came back to me, like a wormhole opened up at my feet.
The oil stains and marks, and me, I wondered if that’s all that existing is as I picked my outfit for the day.
