エドガー・ライトさんのインスタグラム写真 - (エドガー・ライトInstagram)「Just on the train back from the Edinburgh Fringe and in 48 hours managed to see 13 comedy shows and plays. It’s such an invigorating blast to see so many amazing performers and writers in front of great crowds. Am going to shout out to everyone I saw. Saw some great stand up set and monologues from Ahir Shah and Kieron Hodgson, as well as the infectiously silly Phil Ellis, the fiery Dan Tiernan, the always charming Celya AB and the utterly disarming real life teacher John Tothill. Not to mention the bonkers character comedy and sight gags of Lorna Rose Treen. (There is one visual gag in this show I cannot figure out.) Then some great new theatre in brilliantly written and performed Strategic Love Play, the scorchingly funny and undefinable madness of The Last Show Before We Die, Ben Target’s touching Lorenzo and the charming Bullring Techno Makeup Jamz. And then there’s the outrageous triumph of Linus Karp’s revisionist epic Diana, The Untold And Untrue Story. And last but no means least, Julia Masli’s HA HA HA HA HA, was a beautifully silly and heartwarming stand out, which I saw last night, starting at the lunatic hour of 1:30 AM. As it turns out this was a perfect time for a magical show. It just won the Comedian’s Choice award too, so definitely see this if you can.
