I hurt my hamstring before USAs, injured it again a two weeks before Worlds, andddd I hurt it again on the first water jump in the race last night. I willed myself to push and stay in the race, but it’s pretty tricky to hurdle and water jump when one leg isn’t really doing it’s job. My brain and my heart wanted yesterday’s race to go differently, but ultimately the body had different plans.
