In honor of the International Day for the Remembrance of the Slave Trade and its Abolition, we share curator Lucia Olubunmi R. Momoh's PMA Stories article, discussing the "antislavery medallion", 𝘈𝘮 𝘐 𝘕𝘰𝘵 𝘢 𝘔𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢 𝘉𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳? that was recently added to the museum's collection. This day is intended to inscribe the tragedy of the slave trade in the memory of all peoples.
