As most of you know I’m no expert in the kitchen- but my whole goal here is to TRY new things and get my kids to eat! I also thought this would be a good way to get the girls involved more in the kitchen, so here we are learning as we go! 🍓 This is the STRAWBERRY PROTEIN SMOOTHIE my girls drink once a day. They love it so much that they want it after dinner sometimes as a dessert. The girls are very very picky eaters and nearly impossible for me to get any greens in their meals, so this has been my little trick! The color of the drink is very important as if they see any sort of “green” they won’t drink eat, so for now I’m starting off with more fruits than veggies but hopefully in time we can flip that. 🍓Ingredients Used: Frozen Bananas and Strawberries 1 cup of Milk 2 spoons of yogurt ( I usually use greek yogurt but ran out) A handful of greens Peanut butter (optional but colette only likes to drink this smoothie if hers has a bit of peanut butter , so after I pour Chloe’s smoothie then I add a spoonful of peanut butter for colette and blend it one more time) 🥗 I also make this smoothie for myself but i swap out the whole milk with almond milk and I’ll add way more spinach than fruit instead.
