I listened to John Lennon's “Imagine” for the first time in a while. I remembered that I liked the Beatles in junior high school and listened to imagine repeatedly.
Also, I like the episode where John Lennon and Yoko Ono met.
John said to Yoko Ono's Painting to Hammer a Nail, "I want to hammer a nail," but she replied, "If you pay 5 shillings, you can hammer a nail." Then he replied, "I'll pay you 5 shillings by imagination, so may I hammer an imagination nail here?" It seems that the two were attracted to each other after that.
For her work “Ceiling Painting/Yes Painting”, if you climb a ladder and look into the ceiling with a magnifying glass hanging from the ceiling, you will see a small “Yes'” written on it. Seeing this work, he felt warm.
I hope that we can accept each other's yes like her work, and spread a world that warmly embraces us even in our imaginations.

ジョン・レノンのImagineを久し振りに聴いた。
中学時代にBeatlesが好きになり、Imagineも繰り返し聴いていた事を思い出した。
そして、ジョン・レノンとオノ・ヨーコの出会いにまつわる話も。
彼女の「釘を打つための絵」という作品に彼が「釘を打ちたい」と言ったが、展示前の作品だったので「５シリング払ったら打ってもいいわよ」と彼女が答えた。
そうしたら彼が「想像の５シリングを払うから想像の釘を打ってもいいかい？」と答えたという。
それから二人は惹かれあったと。
彼女の「天井の絵(Yes painting)」と言う作品は、ハシゴを登り天井に吊り下げられた虫眼鏡で天井を覗き込むと、小さく“Yes”と書いてあるのが見える。
この作品を見て、彼は温かな気持ちになったとか。
この2つのエピソードがとても好き。
彼女の作品のように誰もが誰かにYesと認め合えるように。
想像の中でも温かく包み込まれる世界が広がってほしい。
