Fuji Rock 2023. Shinkansen from Tokyo station at 11.40, in the festival by 14.30. Yves Tumor (pure PVC pleasure), 矢沢 永吉 (legendary joy) TOHJI (electrifying crowd rouser) YEAH YEAH YEAH’s (emotive perfection) The Strokes (bit flat but glad I was there) NxWorries (uplifting night-starter) MONYHORSE (the best surprise) Vegyn - BAR (Sam) - Overmono - Palace (black velvet) - Yung Singh - BAR (Fran-key- escape to a foot bath before 7.10 train back to Tolyo - showered and bed by 9.30 am. Woke up at 2.30pm wishing I was still there. So many memories in those magic mountains ✨
