I’ve been experimenting with using depth maps in Blender to turn 2D #GoPro images into 3D … I don’t think it will be that long before A.I. can watch a 2D video … create a depth map … guess all the missing information… and just turn the video volumetric … it won’t guess perfectly but close enough that soon we’ll be able to get the feeling of walking around immersed inside our old photos and videos.
