In this case, two petals for a heart-shaped flower.  🔳 3: Create an outline for a complex shape using a thin line of gold leaf, and then fill the area with larger pieces to create a solid shape.  🌊 4: Carefully bend wedge-shaped gold leaf pieces to create a wave pattern, and then fill.  The reconstruction took Professor Hidetoshi nearly one month to complete!
