We are beyond excited to introduce you to this year’s Etsy Design Awards Grand Prize Winner: Maria Gabriela Duque. Following in her father’s footsteps, Maria studied engineering in college, but she found her true passion when she began designing and creating handbags. “I can’t remember exactly the day or the moment when I realized I can turn fabric into whatever I want. Every time I do one new bag, I kind of fell in love more and more.”
