Located in Guanajuato, Mexico, @hwstudioarq’s latest project blends in perfectly with its natural surroundings. Titled the Enso II House, the space draws inspiration from the rich cultural and historical roots of the land. Architects at HW Studio conducted extensive research on the background of Guanajuato and its surrounding towns, ultimately deciding to lean into the distinct and unmatched architectural antiquity.⁠

Traditional architecture and design strategy are utlized throughout as smaller details inside the house also pay homage to the land’s history. Stone also serves as an important element in the Guanajuato area. As a result, it’s used as much as possible throughout the house. Swipe to get a closer look.⁠
