I love to roam cities alone sometimes! So I split off from the group to find a quiet lunch! My husband is a chef and he always has the best places to eat… which is WHY it’s even more glorious when I find something special on my own! Down a street, around the corner on an even tinier street in Ikebukuro is @soba_matsuya and it was everything I wanted in that moment. 🍜 I drank so much of their tea and I just loved sitting there, resting my Elder Millennial bones. Just a nice respite from a busy city.
