To my friends around the world, this is why the world of film making is still so magical… Last Christmas, @jessegiddings ‘s mom @colleengiddings was in town and it happened to be the night of the phenomenal @iamatheatre company’s holiday party. I took Colleen as my date. She has spent her life as an elementary school teacher and loves the theatre. She always dreamed of being an actress but life and the realities of being a working mom took over. She spent the evening chatting to @lordylorch and @lexisloan3 who had these huge smiles on their faces… when I wandered over and asked what they were smiling about they just kept saying “She’s our Connie.” Turns out they had an incredible dark funny comedy they were making and had been hunting for their lead… cut to Colleen auditioning for the lead in their movie and booking it! The film also stars @otfagbenle, @sonalshahofficial and me!
