What is it like directing someone like #MargotRobbie? “I noticed really early that you’re so collaborative, but also so technically perfect as an actor, that you will already have a running list in your head of all the permutations of how you could do a scene.” #GretaGerwig tells Robbie in our August cover interview. “I’ve never quite worked with somebody who could already see her performance in the edit, like genuinely, being able to see your performance from the outside but then also still stay in it. It’s sort of incredible.”
