Being back in the Islands is bittersweet. I still can’t believe I can’t FaceTime Dad to share this with him but I feel his presence in the sunsets, the smell of the flowers, and the sweet sound of the ukulele. I feel him so close and have so much love in my heart for the time I got to spend here as a child because of him. He grew up amongst Polynesian culture and gave his girls the same gift. I can’t wait to bring the babies here and play in the waves the way I did with “Papa Dale”. 🐠🌴🤙🏽🌺 this video is from 2yrs ago when I shared a luau w him. He was bedridden but you could see the sparkle in his eye as he felt the Aloha spirit thru the phone.
