My favorite writer, Anaïs Nin, once said, “We don’t see things as they are, we see them as we are.” These words could not be more true. Since embarking on my self discovery / life expansion journey, I have come to realize just how important our thoughts and beliefs are. They shape our experiences and these experiences shape our lives. My practice of expanding my Self in order to expand my life experiences has not been a linear path. It is a winding road of valleys and mountains, yet it is a path that I have chosen.
