Nicholas Kristof, an @nytopinion columnist, recently visited the Superhumans Center in Lviv, Ukraine, a “philanthropically supported hospital for wounded Ukrainians.” The center, @nickkristof writes, is not “antiseptically depressing, as hospitals often are. Perhaps that’s because of the admiration that Ukrainians feel for these veterans." Even after so much loss, many Ukrainian war veterans plan to return to the front lines.
