Our sweet girl. Tiger Lily crossed over a few weeks ago. A grief like I’ve never known. She was loved by so many. Snuggled by so many. She was at the center of my universe for 14 years. Constant. I don’t even really remember my life or who I was before her. She taught me how to be a Mom. And how to take care of myself. She brought Lucy, our rescue girl, back to life. She was so cool. So regal. We used to call her a cat. And Cindy Crawford. And B.R. (Big Red-like Secretariat-yes the horse.) The moment she left I felt her freedom and I’m just so fucking grateful that she chose me.
