The Indonesian island of Java is known to be the first place where coffee was cultivated in the country. In many parts of Indonesia, particularly Sumatra, coffee is processed using a traditional wet-hulling method. By contrast, Java Tenjolaya is fully washed, highlighting unique cup characteristics and showcasing notes of fresh blackberry, molasses, and exceptional honeyed sweetness.
