Right after we showed in the Best of Breed ring this weekend (hence my outfit lol), we made our way across the field to run agility. And something incredible happened... Geordi got a Q (qualifying score) in Open Jumpers!!! 😱

This is a HUGE accomplishment for us – his last JWW Q was in 2017, before his shoulder surgery. Even after I lowered his jump height to 4”, he kept knocking bars (immediate disqualification) and I seriously considered retiring him, especially since he’s turning 10 soon. 🥺

Well, I sure am glad I didn’t retire him just yet. He’s slowed down a lot due to his age and injury, but it’s still obvious how much he loves this sport. Very proud of this little old man, and it makes me so happy to see HIM so happy!

(I thought this song was appropriate since handling Geordi in agility always makes me feel frantic 🤣🤣)
