❤️🦍 Join us in welcoming the newest member of our western lowland gorilla troop! Mom Calaya and dad Baraka welcomed their second baby in the early morning May 27. The family is doing well! Calaya is cradling the baby close, so it may be some time before keepers can determine the baby’s sex. The Great Ape House is currently closed to provide the family some quiet time to bond. It will reopen on Tuesday, May 30.
