Many women who lead have been told implicitly we need to approximate the masculine/“go” model of work to be successful/respected. I do not believe this. I wholeheartedly believe that women leaders work differently. We need community, creativity, and most importantly the permission to rest and restore. We do it differently, and it’s OK. That’s why we’re good when we are good.
