Northumberland sandstone is just what I needed to remember how to pull hard on bad holds and to move my hips and trust my feet when pulling hard doesn’t work. I feel like a rock climber. Like I’ve found a part of myself that I didn’t even know I was missing. For the first time in a long time I found myself totally absorbed. Piecing moves together, getting creative and thinking up new beta. And stubbornly wasting skin and energy on a slab that was baking in the sun 😅. It was so wonderful to be that psyched.
