ジョシュア・オッペンハイマー監督によるドキュメンタリー映画 “ アクト・オブ・キリング ／ The Act of Killing ” ( 2014年公開 )をAmazon primeで鑑賞。

1965年、インドネシア大統領／スカルノを、陸軍のスハルト少将のクーデターにより失脚させた際、右派勢力によってインドネシア共産党員が100万人以上に大虐殺を行ったとされる9月30日事件 。この虐殺に関わった人物らに、当時の殺害行為などを再現させドキュメントするという異色のドキュメンタリー映画。
人間って、なんて愚かな生き物なんだろう・・・許される事では決してない。しかし遠くの国の遠い昔の話では決してなく、誰しも同じ加害者や被害者になる可能性は十分にあるのだと思う。いろいろ勉強しなくては・・・。この映画をソファーに座って鑑賞しながら、深く深く落ち込みました。

In 1965, when Indonesian President Sukarno was ousted in a coup d'etat by Army Major General Suharto, right-wing forces carried out a massacre of more than 1 million Indonesian Communists in the September 30 Incident. This unique documentary film documents the massacre by having the people who were involved in the massacre reenact the murderous acts of the time.
What a stupid creature human beings are... It is never forgivable. It is not a story of a long time ago in a faraway country, and I believe that everyone has the possibility to be a perpetrator or a victim of the same thing. I have to learn more about history .... I was deeply and profoundly depressed as I sat on my couch watching this movie.
