六月にシャトレ座で行うアンドロイドオペラ公演のサウンドシステム、PAを担当するユニソンのシリルとレオナルドとスタジオでミーティング。実際に曲をかけながら一曲ずつ課題を紐解いていく。彼らはシャトレ座で音響を担当していて、この劇場を知り尽くしている。特に二人ともオーケストラスコアが読めて電子音にも強いのは今回のようなプロジェクトには非常に心強い。そして今回はアンドロイド、オーケストラ、電子音、照明、映像の全てが同期しつつ、スピーカーも会場を包囲するように使うのでシステムは複雑を極めている。有意義なミーティングだった。
Meeting in the studio with Cyril and Leonardo of @unissondesign , who will be in charge of the sound system and PA for the Android Opera performance at @theatrechatelet in Paris in June. We played actual songs and unraveled the issues one by one. They are in charge of sound at the Chatelet and know this theater inside and out. Both of them can read orchestral scores and are very good with electronic sounds, which is very reassuring for a project like this. This time, the androids, orchestra, electronic sound, lighting, and visuals are all synchronized, and the speakers are used to surround the venue, so the system is extremely complex. It was a very meaningful meeting.
