DREAMLAND. About ten years ago, I found this vintage, monumental cornucopia in Palm Beach through a dealer. I had never seen anything like this before… Its unique and surreal sculptural form was incredibly captivating. I was told it was made by a local artist and had been in the open air for years, therefore, it had such a beautiful patina. At the time, I was designing our family home on the beach in Malibu. I wanted a work of art for the entry… something that would give the house a sense of place. I shipped the work back to LA and brought it to the house in Malibu. It was spectacular. This entry is such a serene and powerful moment...my family's dreamland. XK
