2023年4月19日より界 加賀へ新たに「金継ぎ工房」が誕生しました。
金継ぎとは、陶磁器の破損部分を漆によって接着し、金などの金属粉で装飾して仕上げる日本の伝統的な修復技法のこと。
この「金継ぎ工房」では宿泊者限定でスタッフ自らが行う修復作業の見学や、修復工程の一部を体験できる「金継ぎいろは」を開催しております。
金継ぎ技術の難しさや、伝統技法の奥深さを体感してみてはいかがでしょうか。

"Kintsugi Workshop" opened at KAI Kaga on April 19, 2023.
Kintsugi is a traditional Japanese restoration technique in which damaged parts of ceramics are glued with lacquer and decorated with gold or other metal powder.
At the "Kintsugi Workshop," guests can observe the restoration work done by the staff and experience a part of the restoration process.
