ヴィッキー・パティソンさんのインスタグラム写真 - (ヴィッキー・パティソンInstagram)「What a week it's been 🥹♥️🥚 I've got so much I want to bloody say & I know I'll run out of characters so let me try to keep this brief & to the point (famous last words 😂) Thankyou so much for all your gorgeous messages of kindness & concern- you don't know how much it has meant to me- especially as I've had a hard few days 🥹♥️ As some of you may know I went in to @londonwomensclinic in Harley Street on Tuesday for my egg retrieval. After almost 2 weeks of hormone highs & lows, injections & scans my little eggies were finally ready to to be popped in the freezer or turned into embryos! (I'll talk more about our decision on that later!) The surgery itself is pretty straight forward- I was put to sleep & when I woke up I was given the good news that 10 eggs had been retrieved 😍 During every stage of the retrieval process you can sort of expect that number to decline- so just for some perspective- I went in there with 12 follicles ready to be drained & the prospect of there being 12 eggs. Of course there was 10 in the end & we later found out that 9 of those were mature 😍 A result we're incredibly content with. There are more stages for our eggs to go through & we are just hoping that our good luck continues at the blastocyst process ♥️ I've found the recovery more difficult & dare I say painful than I anticipated- I know it's different for everyone- but that's just been my experience 🥹 So even though we're feeling super blessed & very proud of our eggies the last few days have been quite challenging. But I went back to work today, I'm feeling more like myself and I'm super positive but also a little bit annoyed that I let a couple small minded, knobhead trolls put me off sharing my journey with you all last week.. I think that must have been my hormones playing havoc with my emotions making me think I was a weak asssss bitch 😂😂😂 But like I say, I'm feeling much more myself now and happy to catch you up on what you've missed! And for anyone who isn't interested/doesn't care/doesn't agree with my decision... Keep scrolling, you don't have to leave a weird comment.
