As the release of #Dune: Part Two looms, director Denis Villeneuve is doing his best to live up to what his younger self once hoped to see onscreen. “I'm deep into sound design and the visual effects, and it's a race against time,” he tells VF’s Anthony Breznican. “I don't have time to reflect on what we’ve done and accomplished, but I would say that I've been in the ‘Dune’ world, I think, from the past six years nonstop, and it has been an incredible journey so far.”
