AIR MAX 1 “WASHED DARK BLUE”

今作は、マッドガードやクォーターパネル、アイステイに濃紺のデニム素材を採用した名は体を現す1足。そして、“夏こそ柄物”と言わんばかりにレオパード柄をフォクシングに、チーター柄をクォーターオーバーレイに、フローラル柄をライニングに配置。それでも全体が不思議とまとまって見えるのは、濃紺という懐の深い色味がベースだからこそ。そして、それぞれのパーツを縫い合わせて補強するかのようにクロスのステッチを施すことで、デコラティブながらクラフト感も溢れるユニークなデザイン。
デコラティブなのは、表層的なアッパーだけではなく、レザーパッチがあしらわれたシュータン裏には千鳥格子がプリントされ、インソールも5つのスウッシュで構成された扇子を総柄でデザイン。また、シューレースもボリューム感のある丸紐仕様に変更されていたりと、一見しただけでは気付かない細やかなこだわりが光る1足となっております。
atmosが撮り下ろしたキービジュアルは、“WASHED DARK BLUE”で共存する柄と素材をヒントに制作。誰もが幼き頃に一度は実践したことがあるであろうスクラップブックに着想し、写真を切り貼りするコラージュの手法で足し算と引き算の美学を表現した。

This time, the mudguard, quarter panel, and eyestay are made of navy blue denim material, and the name reveals the body. Then, as if to say, “Summer is patterned,” leopard print is placed on the foxing, cheetah print on the quarter overlay, and floral print on the lining. Still, the reason why the whole looks strangely cohesive is because it is based on the deep navy blue color. And by sewing each part together and applying cross stitching as if to reinforce it, it is a unique design that is both decorative and full of craftsmanship.
What is decorative is not only the surface upper, but also a houndstooth pattern printed on the back of the shoe tongue with a leather patch, and the insole is designed with a fan made up of 5 Swoosh. In addition, the shoe laces have been changed to round laces that give a sense of volume, making this a pair of shoes that shines with attention to detail that you wouldn't notice at first glance.
