Spot the climber?
In August 2015, @コンラッド・アンカー, @renan_ozturk, and @アレックス・オノルド, and I spent two weeks climbing in the Bugaboos Provincial Park, British Columbia. Conrad has a hard time staying stationary, so on one of our rest days he rallied the team for a quick "hike" up Pigeon Peak, near our camp. That's Conrad on Pigeon in the photo above.
Not to be outdone, Alex Honnold, on another one of our rest days, strolled out of camp at 9 a.m. to onsight solo two big multipitch routes, rated 5.12a and 5.11c. He wandered back to camp at 3 p.m. for a bite to eat, then headed out at 4 p.m. for a ropeless "cool down" lap on the 19-pitch Beckey-Chouinard route on the South Howser Tower. He was back before dark. It was the biggest day of difficult free soloing anyone had ever done in the Bugaboos, but it was just another rest day for Alex.
