In 2018, I had much fun visiting and interacting with Shuta Hasunuma's @shuta_hasunuma exhibition at Shiseido Gallery in Tokyo. His art practice and music, which we listen to frequently at home and in the studio, have playful, daring, soothing and warm qualities that I adore. As we have many common friends across borders, we were bound to meet. And in 2019, Shuta and Jatinder Singh Durhailay @jatindersinghdurhailay (my husband ♡) performed at Sony Park Live in Tokyo. I recall heading to the performance with friends just after holding a Journal du Thé @journal_du_the @poeticpastel Public Talk with T.S. Wendelstein @75w.studio at Nidi Gallery @nidi_gallery. Cherish memories with many good friends and collaborators ♡ who I have not met since the pandemic. Shuta's invitation to create paintings for his new collaborative album 'Shuta Hasunuma Philharmonic Orchestra' came as a good surprise and a dream commission project.
