I stand (figuratively AND literally) with teachers on strike in support of SEIU 99, the union of bus drivers, cafeteria workers, teaching assistants, custodians, special ed assistants, and many more who support and keep our kids safe everyday. With the cost of living in LA, many of them are in danger of becoming unhoused and 1/4 of them don’t have enough to eat because their wages are so low.

@lausdsup please acknowledge this gap and offer these critically important workers a dignified wage that allows them to take care of themselves so they can continue to take care of our kids. 🙏🏽
