I’ve asked for time, I’ve asked for his presence when I couldn’t be present, I’ve asked for him to speak when I didn’t have the words and he’s done it everytime, all while fighting for your freedom!! Whatever small gesture or contribution I may have participated in is nothing to the countless people your son has fed, clothed, helped get a job and even slept outside for those with out a home, again ALL WITH THE WEIGHT OF YOUR INCARCERATION ON HIS BACK!!! 34 years is a long time without family, a father, a grandfather…as you know very well, but me and others are here to tell you, your son didn’t waste a minute of your time, he fought for you the whole time and helped the community at the same damn time!!!! @brittanykbarnett thank you for never giving up, for being a lifesaver and a family saver.
